Alright, Sheila thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. We’d love to hear the backstory of how you established your own practice.

I started my practice in 2013. I graduated at the age of 33 from plastic surgery residency at USC. I spent the first 6 months building out an office space that I shared with my husband, a neurosurgeon. We were sharing rent, which was a big help. It took 18 months for the phone to start consistently ringing but I had a decent flow of patients before that to support my initial efforts. Every penny I earned was put back into the practice in advertising and device acquisition. I think the big learning points and mistakes from that time was not hiring the best staff. I was limited in funds so I hired only people I could afford, it took a while to learn to hire the best

Kim Nazarian is a world renowned, Grammy nominated jazz performing and recording artist, educator and clinician. Besides her work as a sought-after solo vocalist, she has been performing all over the world with the vocal group, “New York Voices“ (NYV), for more than 35 years. She is a jazz voice teacher for Vocal Jazz Majors at Ithaca College. Early life

David Nazarian was born circa 1961 in Iran.^[1]^[2] His father, Younes Nazarian, was a businessman and philanthropist. His mother, Soraya Nazarian, is a philanthropist. His paternal uncle, Izak Parviz Nazarian, was also a businessman and philanthropist. Nazarian immigrated to the United States with his parents during the Iranian Revolution of 1979.^[2]

He graduated from California State University, Northridge, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration in 1982.^[1]^[3]^[4] He received a Master of Business Administration from the USC Marshall School of Business.^[3]
