    Christophe Chevalin

    Chairman / CEO

The former boss of Euro Disney, Pélisson has sought to scale up the Bouygues-controlled commercial broadcaster TF1 so it can compete with encroaching global players. However, TF1’s proposed merger with RTL Group-owned M6 was called off in September following a review by the French Competition Authority. TF1’s international division, Newen, continues to expand, acquiring Rise Films. Cinema arm TF1 Films co-produced French hits “Super-Héros Malgré Lui,” “Maison de Retraite and “Qu’est-ce qu’on a Tous Fait au Bon Dieu?” Highlights this year include season two of detective series “HIP (High Intellectual Potential),” for which ABC ordered a pilot for a possible remake. Pélisson is exiting in early 2023 to join Bouygues.
