Capturing his talents in high school, a teacher encouraged him to expand his talents in the artistic field thus finally discovering his love and passion for painting. Although he later received a Diploma in Biology and Anatomy he began studying art at the Tehran University and Dusseldorf University. After graduation, Mostafa decided to expand his artistic mind in Germany and France. Over the next seven years, he defined his craft and inner expressions bringing uniqueness and original stylized characteristics to each of his works. Mostafa Keyhani was born in Iran in 1954, and is a Canadian citizen presently residing in Canada. It was during his years as a secondary school student that he was encouraged by one of his teachers to pursue his artistic talents. As a result, he became completely devoted to painting.
After receiving a diploma in biology and anatomy, Keyhani studied art at Duseldorf University. Upon completion of his studies, he then spent seven years traveling Germany and France, all the while developing his technique and style. It is typical of Keyhani's paintings to convey the lively spirit of street scenes, scenic landscapes and the beauty of floral still life. His brilliance with color and energetic compositions enchant the viewer.
Keyhani's works are featured in galleries and in numerous important collections in France, Germany, Canada and the United States. His work is on display in the permanent collection of the Canadian Parliament Buildings and the collection of St. Michael's Collage Colchester, Lamont, USA.
