Virna Lisi (born 8 November 1936 in Ancona) is a Cannes and César award-winning Italian film actress. She was born in Ancona, Marche, as Virna Lisa Pieralisi. Early career Virna Lisi began her film career in her teens. She was discovered by two Neapolitan producers (Antonio Ferrigno and Ettore Pesce). Her debut was in La corda d'acciaio (The line of steel, 1953). Initially, she did musical films, like in E Napoli canta (Napoli sings, 1943) and the successful Questa è la vita (1954, with the popular Totò). Nonetheless, soon Virna Lisi became a figure whose beauty was more valued than her talent, like in Le diciottenni and Lo scapolo films of 1955. Still, she incarnated demanding roles, particularly in La Donna del Giorno (1956), Eva (1962), and the Italian-made spectacle Romolo e Remo (1961). Virna Lisa Pieralisi[1] (Italian:[ˈvirnapjeraˈliːzi]; 8 November 1936 – 18 December 2014), known as just Virna Lisi, was an Italian actress. Her international film appearances included How to Murder Your Wife (1965), Not with My Wife, You Don't! (1966), The Secret of Santa Vittoria (1969), Beyond Good and Evil (1977), and Follow Your Heart (1996). For the 1994 film La Reine Margot, she won Best Actress at Cannes and the César Award for Best Supporting Actress.

Historia
[editar]Luca Prodán tenía una fascinación increíble por la actriz italiana Virna Lisi, quien representaba la imagen más fuerte de Cinecittá, la gran meca del cine europeo y por donde el cantante (que marcó un quiebre en la historia del rock argentino) caminó en varias oportunidades.
Se había enamorado de ella en sus épocas de estudiante en la década del sesenta, en Escocia, donde fue remitido por el esnobismo de sus padres que querían para el hijo mayor de esta familia bilingüe integrada por una escocesa nacida en China y un italiano nacido en Turquía, una educación de alto nivel junto a los príncipes de Gran Bretaña.
